Brisbane City Indoor Sports at Newmarket is a custom built facility that brings beach volleyball indoors. The centre is the only one of its kind in Queensland and enables elite and social players to hit the sand regardless of the weather.
Current national tour players like Adam Blackburn and centre co-owner Craig Gillet make the most of the sand here using the site as a training facility.
Above and beyond beach volleyball, Brisbane City Indoor Sports also runs social competitions for indoor soccer, netball, cricket and dodgeball.
A variety of kid’s activities are also available at the centre including Brazilian soccer. This class is in high demand and teaches children the skills required for the game in a fun and creative environment with a background of traditional Brazilian music.
